history

The place was first mentioned in 1374. In 1390 Nickel von Kotzau owned a farm and two estates , Konrad Rabensteiner had two fiefdoms in the village. In 1413, the Rabensteiners' Vorwerk was built, which from 1417 was expanded to become a noble residence. On June 10, 1534 Weinzlitz was sold to Hans Heinrich von Feilitzsch on Trogen, upper part. Weinzlitz came to the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1810 . The Weinzlitz manor had its own patrimonial court , which was dissolved in 1848. When the taxation of all goods in Bavaria began in 1810, the properties were valued at 36,000 guilders . The manor buildings were rebuilt several times in the 19th century. The former manor has become a purely agricultural property. On July 1, 1972 Weinzlitz, which at that time belonged to the political municipality of Vierschau, was reclassified to the municipality of Regnitzlosau.
