Welykyj Rakowez ( Ukrainian Великий Раковець ; Russian Великий Раковец Veliki Rakowez , Slovak Veľký Rakovec , Hungarian Nagyrákóc ) is a village in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast Zakarpattia with about 4,500 inhabitants.
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1330, is located 12 km southeast of the Irschawa district center and is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the south of Irschawa district , which also includes the village of Sabolotne ( Заболотне ⊙ ) with around 800 inhabitants.
