Wendy Haas

Wendy Haas Mull (born August 2, 1949 ) is an American fusion musician ( keyboard , vocals and composition).

Career

Haas, who grew up in California and took piano lessons for two years, has played in local bands in San Francisco since 1964 . There she made friends with Michael Shrieve , through whom she met Carlos Santana . Haas was the pianist on the album Caravanserai and sang on the album Welcome . Then Haas was part of the Latin fusion band Azteca , who released two albums with Columbia and toured North America with Stevie Wonder . She also played in the women's band Fanny . In 1978 she belonged to Santana, Herbie Hancock , Greg Errico and Lee Oskar to the cast of Giants , who recorded an album of the same name for Jerry Goldstein. Haas has also appeared on albums by Lee Oskar, Shigeru Suzuki , Lee Garrett , Kenny Rankin and Melissa Manchester and has appeared with Alice Cooper , Boz Scaggs , Kiki Dee and Spencer Davis .

In 1982 she married comedian Martin Mull , with whom she has a daughter. Since then she has only appeared occasionally, around 2007 at the Azteca reunion concert . As Wendy Mull, she wrote the music for The History of White People in America: Volume II ; in the film Edie & Pen she appeared in a supporting role.
