Werner Seif

Werner Seif (born January 21, 1955 in Steyr ) was a top Austrian civil servant, most recently state office director of the Lower Austrian state government . He retired in May 2017.

Life

Werner Seif came after graduation at Stiftsgymnasium Seitenstetten , as well as the study of law at the University of Linz and the promotion of Dr. iur. 1978 in the following year in the Lower Austrian Provincial Service.

He looked at the district headquarters Neunkirchen , Krems , Waidhofen an der Thaya , Korneuburg and Baden until 1985 as office manager of the Governor -Stellvertreters or Provincial Governor Erwin Pröll came to the state government.

On March 1, 1995, he became Deputy State Office Director and since March 1, 2000 Werner Seif has held the position of State Office Director at the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government . He succeeded Karl Kern , who went into retirement.

Due to his position and seniority, he has the official title of Hofrat .

He retired on May 1st, 2017 and was replaced by Werner Trock .
