Werner Wolf (political scientist)

Werner Wolf (* 1945 ) is a German political scientist and journalist .

Wolf studied political science, history and German at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and the University of Vienna, and in 1972 he was at the Philosophical Faculty of the Würzburg University with a dissertation in South Tyrol in Austria. The South Tyrol question in the Austrian discussion from 1945–1969 on Dr. phil. PhD. His academic teachers include Walter Grottian (who died in 1968) and Friedrich August Freiherr von der Heydte , who inspired the work.

From 1972 to 1984 Wolf was a scientific advisor to the CDU parliamentary group in the Hessian state parliament in Wiesbaden and advised the CDU Hesse for a long time under the then state chairman Alfred Dregger . From 1984 to 1991 he was permanent representative or director of the Hessian State Center for Political Education . Later he became managing director and senior consultant of the marketing agency Cicero - Gesellschaft für Werbung und Kommunikation mbH in Wiesbaden. In addition, from 2012 to 2015 he was managing director of financial education services GmbH in Starnberg near Munich. He worked as a publicist in Wiesbaden.

Wolf was u. a. Member of the scientific advisory board at the Center against Expulsions .
