history

The Weserbund was founded in Bremen in 1921 as a canal association . Heinrich Flügel became the first managing director . The association serves to promote the Weser region, which with its source rivers Werra and Fulda belongs to the area of ​​interest. The current managing director is Rüdiger Heinrich.
