West German Junior Cup

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The West German Junior Cup was primarily a football competition for U17 / U16 teams between 1980 and 2009. The host was the WFLV and the mode has probably changed several times. Most of the time there is talk of a semi-final and final, but also a round of points. Not only were the cup winners qualified, but some of the cup finalists were also allowed to compete. No other cup winners are known since 2010 .

Since the respective state cup winner has been qualifying for the DFB Junior Club Cup since 1987 , the West German Cup has only been proven to be held four times. All winning clubs come from the FLVW area. However, teams from the FVM and FVN can also have won the cup.
