A year later the Neuenkirchener came fourth. The highlight of the season was the derby at FC Eintracht Rheine in front of 3,522 spectators. In the 2015/16 season , the team will again play in the top tier of the Oberliga, but for financial and structural reasons they decided not to apply for a license for the Regionalliga West .
