Hans "Hanne" Weiner (born November 29, 1950 in Neuenkirchen ) is a former German football player .
Career
societies
Weiner began his career in 1969 in the Regionalliga Berlin as a central defender at Tennis Borussia Berlin . In 1972 he moved to Bundesliga club Hertha BSC and quickly developed into a regular player who, together with Holger Brück, organized the Berlin back team. He made his Bundesliga debut on September 16, 1972 (1st matchday) in the 2: 3 home defeat against Fortuna Düsseldorf ; his first goal was the 1-0 opening goal on September 20 (2nd matchday) in the 2-1 defeat in Bochum . In 1979 he joined Bayern Munich to strengthen the defense and celebrated his greatest successes there. He was a regular player right away and won the German championship with Bayern in 1980 and 1981 and the club cup in 1982 . In the same year he was in the final of the European Cup , which was lost 1-0 to the English champions Aston Villa . After this successful season, Hans Weiner moved to Chicago Sting in the USA . He stayed here for two years before returning to Hertha BSC in the 2nd Bundesliga in 1984 . In 1986 he ended his active career. In total, Hans Weiner played 309 first division (14 goals) and 65 second division games (3 goals).
National team
Hans Weiner played his only international match for the B national team , which won 1-0 against the Swedish national team on April 18, 1978 in Norrköping ; Weiner was substituted on for Harald Konopka .
Others
Weiner managed the “Tegeler Hof” hotel he opened for 18 years. From 2002 to 2010 he was the owner of the football restaurant “Hanne am Zoo” (formerly “Holst am Zoo”) in Berlin. A brain pacemaker is now supposed to help him against Parkinson's disease, which Weiner has been suffering from for several years .
