|
Weyerhof is a district in the Bensberg district of Bergisch Gladbach . Originally only the half-timbered house Weyerhof 5–7 shown here stood here.
history
The settlement name Weyerhof takes up the late medieval settlement name Weyerhof / Weyergut , which the original cadastre lists as "Weier Hof" . The name of the farm and the old name of the tub at the small pond originally referred to an adjacent pond or pond. Ferdinand Stucker was born on the Weyerhof in 1772 ; he organized the resistance of the Bergisch population against the French revolutionary troops in 1795 .
monument
The depicted house Weyerhof 5-7 was included under no. 190 in the list of architectural monuments in Bergisch Gladbach .
