Location of Zuckerhütchen in Bergisch Gladbach

Zuckerhütchen is a district in the Bensberg district of Bergisch Gladbach .

history

The single settlement with the old name Zuckerhütchen was listed in the original cadastre north of the "way from Bensberg to Moitzfeld and Immekeppel " (this is today's Wipperfürther Straße ). The narrow driveway there was labeled Weg nach Zuckerhütchen . The term sugar loaf often appears in field names as a shape designation for a wedge-shaped parcel or a conical elevation.

The place is from the Prussian new recording from 1892 on Ordnance Survey regularly as sugar cones listed or with no name.

Due to the Cologne Act , the city of Bensberg was merged with Bergisch Gladbach to form the city of Bergisch Gladbach with effect from January 1, 1975. In the process, Zuckerhütchen also became part of Bergisch Gladbach.
