action

Investment banker Richard Jones is confident about his retirement. He sold his company to an investor from Paris and secured pensions for his employees. However, one morning he is horrified to discover that the unscrupulous buyer Vincent Kruger has deliberately driven his company into ruin; all of his earnings and that of his employees are lost, including retirement provisions and loans for the children's studies. Richard promises his employees to get the money back.

He seeks advice from his ex-wife Kate, with whom he spontaneously decides to go to Paris and confront Vincent. The endeavor is hopeless, and after a brief encounter they are shown back at the door. They find out that Vincent will soon celebrate his wedding to Manon Fontane. Kate also knows that Manon will be wearing a $ 10 million diamond around his neck. They work out a plan to steal the diamond and get their pensions back.

Kate first manages to get into the small circle of Manon's intimate hen party and learns that two unknown couples from Texas have been invited to the wedding. With the help of their son Matt, who is well versed in computer attacks, they find out about the Texans' hotel and overwhelm them when they arrive to get the invitation cards for the wedding reception. In the meantime, they have received support from their friends Jerry and Pen, who have come specially and agree to the plan to assume the identity of the Texans at the wedding.

Since a fingerprint is required to enter the château, you can take diving equipment over the cliffs onto the site. When they arrive at the party, they try to get into Manon's apartments. There they are surprised by Manon, who seems upset. When Kate is discovered, Manon is overjoyed to be able to speak to her while Richard tries to get to the diamond. The situation escalates when the real Texans show up at the wedding. Kate and Richard are locked in a van and are about to be thrown off the cliff. At the last moment they are rescued by Manon, who meanwhile wants to divorce Vincent again. Richard sells the diamond so that he can amply compensate his employees. Then he goes on a trip with his ex-wife.
