The meadow area at the Großer Renzeler Moor is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxon communities of Bahrenborstel and Kirchdorf in the combined community of Kirchdorf in the Diepholz district .
The nature reserve with the registration number NSG HA 100 was 48.5 hectares in size. It was almost completely part of the FFH area “Renzeler Moor” and the EU bird sanctuary “Diepholzer Moorniederung”. In the west it bordered directly on the nature reserve " Großes Renzeler Moor " and in the northwest on one of the three parts of the former nature reserve " Am Großen Renzeler Moor ". Otherwise, it bordered on the conservation area "Large Renzeler Moor and Black Moor". All three nature reserves formed a biotope network. The area was protected since June 19, 1986. The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Diepholz.
The former nature reserve is located west of Bahrenborstel and northeast of Ströhen in the Diepholzer Moorniederung . The area characterized by grassland with a high groundwater level forms a buffer zone between the raised bog area in the west and the intensively used agricultural areas in the east. The grassland in the nature reserve is only used extensively.
