Wilfried Sturm

Wilfried Sturm (born April 30, 1958 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German pastor of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg , theologian and professor for systematic theology in pastoral practice and dean for study and teaching at the International University of Liebenzell .

Live and act

Sturm studied Protestant theology in Krelingen , Tübingen and Erlangen from 1977 to 1984 . This was followed by the vicariate and parish vicariate in the Evangelical Church in Württemberg. In 1988 he was released from this to work as a lecturer at the theological seminar of the Liebenzell Mission . In 2001 he was visiting professor at the "Japan Bible Seminary", Tokyo, Japan. 2013 storm was at the Theological Faculty of the University of Leipzig with his dissertation on the "pastor Lichen deal with ethical conflicts in the field of neonatology and its importance to the relationship between pastoral care and ethics" to Dr. theol. PhD. From 2011 he was an academic assistant at the Liebenzell International University , where he was appointed Professor of Systematic Theology in Pastoral Practice in 2015 and Dean of Studies and Teaching in 2016. His main research interests are bio- and medical-ethical questions, questions in the border area between ethics and pastoral care and the relationship between the disciplines theology and social work.

Sturm has been a member of the working group for evangelical theology since 2014 , guest speaker at the Hermann Hesse-Gymnasium, Calw and speaker at conferences such as Christustag and the Pastor's Prayer Association (PGB). He is married to Judith, daughter of Lienhard Pflaum . The couple has four children and lives in Maisenbach .
