Wilhelm Filla (Award of the Austrian Adult Education TV Prize 2011)

Wilhelm Filla (born May 31, 1947 in Carinthia ; † June 23, 2016 in Vienna ) was an Austrian adult educator.

Life

Filla studied sociology at the University of Vienna . From 1974 to 1979 he was director of the Hietzing Adult Education Center , then until April 2012 General Secretary of the Association of Austrian Adult Education Centers and editor of the magazine Die Österreichische Volkshochschule. Adult Education Magazine . Filla was a lecturer at the University of Graz from 2000 and at the University of Klagenfurt from 2002 .
