Wilhelm Habbes
Wilhelm Habbes (born March 13, 1896 in Afferde ; † 1948 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SS leader.
Live and act
After visiting the Protestant pedagogy in Godesberg , Wilhelm Habbes volunteered for the First World War in 1914 , in which he made it to the rank of lieutenant in the field artillery . After his return from the war, he settled down as a farmer in 1919. He later studied at the University of Jena and the Agricultural University in Bonn . After completing his exams as a qualified farmer, he took over his own farm.
In the 1920s, Habbes joined the NSDAP (membership number 754.644). After the National Socialists came to power , he took on tasks for them as a " Landesbauernführer " in Westphalia, as a " Gauamtsleiter " and from 1935 to 1945 in the Prussian Provincial Council in Westphalia. In addition, he was a member of the board of the Landbund and Head of Department III of the rural self-government of the province of Westphalia. Habbes was also a member of the SS, in which he achieved the rank of Standartenführer .
From April 1933 until its dissolution three months later, he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia and the Prussian State Council.From November 1933 until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945, Habbes was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of constituency 18 (South Westphalia) .
