Wilhelm Pfaff (botanist)
Wilhelm Pfaff (born March 9, 1859 in Sibiu , † December 9, 1933 in Bozen ) was an Austrian botanist .
Life
The brother of Leopold Pfaff studied from 1877 at the University of Vienna and at the University of Innsbruck law and became 1882 Dr. jur. PhD. From 1883 he was a trainee lawyer in Bolzano until 1907 . Then, as a private citizen and curator of the Natural History Museum in Trento, he only devoted himself to his botanical interests. His main interest was in the border areas between botany and folklore and plant phenology and floristry in South Tyrol .
