Wilhelm Stelter

Wilhelm Stelter (born July 28, 1915 in Kiel ; † February 6, 2008 ) was a German dentist and, as a medical officer, was the last stage manager in dentistry in the Bundeswehr with the rank of general physician .

Life

Stelter graduated from high school in Wandsbek in 1936 and served in the Second World War as an officer in the Wehrmacht , most recently in the rank of major . From 1945 to 1949 he studied dentistry at the University of Hamburg . This was followed by uses in the civil sector, including at the Nordwestdeutsche Kieferklinik (now a clinic and polyclinic for dental, oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Clinic Hamburg-Eppendorf ) and as a senior physician at the dental clinic of the Friedrich Krupp Hospital in Essen. In 1958 he joined as Chief Medical into the Bundeswehr, was founded in 1962 to Oberfeldarzt and 1968 in connection with the transfer to the post as Head of Unit in the inspection of the medical and health care (Insan) of the Federal Ministry of Defense for Colonel doctor transported. From April 1, 1970 to September 30, 1972 he served in his last military service as a stage manager for dentistry. After his retirement he practiced privately in Plön for a few years .

Stelter was married and the father of two sons named Heiner, who works as a resident dentist near Kiel, and Jochen, who works as a personnel developer and coach.
