Wilhelm Toelle

Wilhelm Toelle (born June 26, 1876 in Dannheim , † May 4, 1959 in Erfurt ) was a German lawyer and politician ( VRP ).

Life and work

After attending school Toelle began studying law , which he completed in 1899 with the first state examination and in 1904 with the second state examination . From 1904 he was a representative of the District Administrator in Ebeleben , joined the Ministry of the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen in 1905 and was appointed to the Government Council in 1908. From 1914 to 1917 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . In 1918 he was appointed secret councilor.

Toelle was from 1919 to 1922 State Councilor and Head of the Finance Department in the Ministry of the Free State of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen . From 1922 to 1927 he was ministerial director in the finance ministry of the state of Thuringia . After he left the state government, he was put on hold before he finally retired in 1932. After the end of the war, from 1945 to 1948 he was advisor to the authorized representative for the Thuringian Ministry of Finance, where he subsequently became head of department.

Public offices

Toelle was elected on April 30, 1927 by the state parliament as Minister of State of Finance in the government of the state of Thuringia, which was chaired by Richard Leutheußer . From November 1928 he was also a member of the subsequent government headed by Arnold Paulssen . On April 16, 1929, he resigned from his position.
