Friedrich Wilhelm Karl von Kröcher (born March 10, 1782 in Lohm , † January 12, 1861 in Vinzelberg ) was a German manor owner and administrative officer.

Wilhelm von Kröcher came from the noble family Kröcher . His parents were the manor owner Hans von Kröcher (1755–1798) on Lohm, Rodan and Sagast and Ehrengard born. von Krosigk from Hohenerxleben.

Wilhelm von Kröcher studied law at the University of Erlangen . In 1802 he became a member of the Corps Marchia Erlangen. After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. On July 1, 1816, he became the first district administrator of the newly created district of Gardelegen . He held the office until 1843 when his son Friedrich Wilhelm succeeded him as district administrator.

Von Kröcher was the owner of the manors Vinzelberg, Deetz , Käthen and Wendisch-Börzitz and the West Prussian manors Plutowo, Falenczin and Gluchowo. He was regional director of the Altmark , so also chairman of the local council of the Altmark .

family

He was married to Sophie Countess von Alvensleben (1790–1848), daughter of the statesman Johann Ernst von Alvensleben . Her children were Friedrich Wilhelm , district administrator of the Gardelegen district, Marie Helene (1812–1853), third wife of Heinrich Friedrich von Itzenplitz , Prussian minister and parliamentarian, August Henning , member of the Prussian manor, and Karoline Ehrengard (1821–1895), wife by Udo Gebhard Ferdinand von Alvensleben , member of the Prussian manor house.

His brother-in-law was the Prussian finance minister Albrecht von Alvensleben .
