William David "Will" Keane (born January 11, 1993 in Stockport ) is an English football player who is under contract with Hull City in the Football League Championship . The right footer is primarily used as a striker . His twin brother Michael is under contract with Everton FC .

Career

Keane made his Premier League debut on December 31, 2011 in a 3-2 home defeat by Blackburn Rovers when he came on for Brazilian Rafael shortly before the end of the game . In May 2012, Keane suffered a ligament injury in his knee during a game for the England U-19 national team, which meant that he was out for the entire 2012/2013 season. On November 28, 2013 Keane was loaned to Wigan Athletic for a month , a short time later Keane moved to the Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the 2013/2014 season .

For the 2014/15 season , Keane returned to Manchester United, but did not appear in the league. Therefore, he moved on January 22, 2015 until the end of the season on loan to the second division club Sheffield Wednesday .

For the 2015/16 season, Keane was loaned to Preston North End . He returned to Manchester on December 31, 2015.

In August 2016, he moved to league rivals Hull City , where he received a three-year contract.

National team

Although Keane would have been eligible to play for the Irish national team, he made his debut for the England U-16s in a 3-1 win against Russia in 2009. The following years he played for the English U-17 , U-19 and U-21 .
