Willem Marinus Dudok (born July 6, 1884 in Amsterdam , † April 6, 1974 in Hilversum ) was a Dutch architect . Its most famous buildings are the city theater in Utrecht , the town hall and the main building of the blast furnaces ( Koninklijke Hoogovens ) in Velsen, as well as around 75 buildings that shape the entire cityscape of Hilversum. There Dudok was director of the municipal utilities from 1915 to 1927, then city architect until his retirement in 1954.
