Willi Küpper

Willi Küpper (born May 7, 1942 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German business economist and emeritus professor for business administration (BWL) at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Willi Küpper completed a degree in technical business administration from 1963 to 1967 at the University of Karlsruhe .

From 1967 to 1972 he was a research assistant at the business management chairs at the Universities of Karlsruhe and Hamburg. In October 1972 Küpper received his doctorate from the University of Hamburg. The subject of his dissertation was maintenance planning .

From 1972 to 1976 Willi Küpper was employed as a research assistant at the Department of General Business Administration (ABWL) at the University of Hamburg. In 1976 he completed his habilitation on planning systems at the University of Hamburg. From 1976 to 1978 he was scientific advisor and professor for business administration at the University of Hamburg. From 1978 to 1988 Küpper was Professor of Business Administration, in particular Organization and Public Administration, at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg .

From 1988 to 2007 Willi Küpper was a professor of business administration, especially human resources management, at the University of Hamburg.

He retired on September 30, 2007.

Research priorities

His research and interest focused strategic management , staff - management , organizational and personnel development , organizational theory , innovation theory and organizational learning .
