player

According to his own statements, Kronhardt's father is Russian, mother German. Born in 1969 in the Soviet Union, the defensive player grew up in the Federal Republic of Germany from the age of nine. Kronhardt moved in 1990 from ASC Nienburg to the second division promoted TSV Havelse , for whom he played 32 games in the 2nd Bundesliga , in which he scored two goals. After the relegation of TSV Havelse Kronhardt moved to Fortuna in Cologne, where he only played 17 games. In the following year Kronhardt only played in a single point game. In 1993 Kronhardt took part in the military world championship in Morocco with the Bundeswehr national team and finished third. Shortly after the beginning of the 1993/94 season, he pitched his tents at Eintracht Braunschweig until 1996 . In 1996 Kronhardt moved to FC Energie Cottbus and reached the final for the 1997 DFB Cup with the Regionalliga club , which was lost 2-0 to VfB Stuttgart. Previously, Kronhardt had taken the 1-0 lead in the semi-finals in a 3-0 win over Karlsruher SC. In the same season, they also defeated the champions of the northern season, Hannover 96, 3-1 on a return leg in the promotion games to the 2nd Bundesliga. In 1998 Kronhardt moved to VfB Leipzig and two years later he played for Tennis Borussia Berlin in the Regionalliga Nord , before he signed on with SV Arminia Hannover at the beginning of the 2001/02 season and ended his career at his former club TSV Havelse after a transfer at the turn of the year .

Trainer

After he had been assistant coach at Eintracht Braunschweig from 2005 , Kronhardt was promoted to head coach in 2006. However, he only held this office from October 5th to 15th. After this tenure, he became coach of the second team at VfL Wolfsburg on March 5, 2007 . With the "Wolves" Kronhardt managed to move up from the Oberliga Nord to the Regionalliga Nord. Despite this success, he was released on November 6, 2007.

In May 2009, Kronhardt signed a one-year contract as assistant coach at Alemannia Aachen and took over Jörg Jakobs' tasks. Due to the separation of Alemannia from trainer Jürgen Seeberger in September 2009, Kronhardt worked as an interim trainer. He was replaced by Eric van der Luer in 2010 . This was followed by a coaching engagement in Sudan at the capital club Al Merreikh from 2010 to 2011 , with whom he won both the cup and the championship.

Since January 2, 2012 he has been the head coach of the first division club 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig and was promoted to the Regionalliga Nord / Ost with this team. After disagreements with the club's management, however, he switched to future regional league competitor VfB Germania Halberstadt in May 2012 . He worked for Halberstadt until March 2014. After a series of poor results, Kronhardt was released from his coaching duties on March 20, 2014.

From summer 2014 he took over the coaching position at SV Elversberg, who was relegated from the 3rd division , as the successor to Roland Seitz . After a good first half of the season, however, the team could not maintain the level in the second half of the season and slipped out of the promotion places of the Regionalliga Südwest. As a result, Kronhardt was released from his duties on May 7, 2015.

Scouting

From 2015 to 2017 Kronhardt worked as a scout for SV Darmstadt 98 . In July 2017 he took over the position of chief scout at Lok Moscow . At the end of May 2019, Kronhardt moved to the same position at 1. FC Köln .
