Hermann Reinhold Wilhelm Großmann (born April 26, 1888 in Berlin ; † January 9, 1963 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After his apprenticeship, Willy Großmann worked as a machine fitter at the Royal Railway Directorate in Berlin. From 1906 he was a member of the German Metal Workers' Association , in 1908 he also joined the SPD. During the First World War he was not drafted because metal workers were needed for armament . Großmann's union and political activities led to his first arrest, and his exemption from military service was lifted. During the war he joined the USPD .

In 1919, Großmann was elected to the Neukölln city ​​council, and he was also a member of the Neukölln district assembly in the Groß Berlin law passed in 1920 . In 1922 he returned to the SPD. From 1923 to 1925 and 1928 to 1929 he was a member of the Berlin city council . Großmann was the head of the Neukölln district assembly from 1928 to 1930. During the Nazi era he worked as a locksmith and was arrested several times.

After the liberation , Großmann turned back to political work. From 1946 to 1959 he was head of the Neukölln district council assembly . On his 70th birthday he was honored as the city ​​elder of Berlin . In the Berlin election in 1958 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives.
