Willy Krüger (born May 15, 1902 in Berlin , † 1980 in Bad Tölz ) was a German actor .

Life

Willy Krüger was born as the son of the works supervisor Hermann Krüger and his wife Lina. After high school and business school, he received an acting training from Jacques Burg . This was followed by activities as an actor and director at some provincial theaters and later at the Berlin soldiers' theater. From 1945 to 1953 he was the director of a theater (Lower Saxony stage).

From 1954, Willy Krüger was seen in film and television productions . He became known from 1954 through his participation in the first German television series Schölermann Family . Krüger played the role of Matthias Schölermann in 111 episodes until 1960 . Lotte Rausch and Charles Brauer played alongside him . From 1963 he was Inspector Peters in 39 episodes with Konrad Georg in the crime series Kommissar Freytag in front of the camera. Willy Krüger's last appearances on television were in the television films Kressin stops the Nordexpress and AE612 without landing permission from the television series Tatort . He also worked as a voice actor .

Willy Krüger was married to the actress Lotte Göbel. They had a son together.
