Winfried Huettl

Winfried Hüttl (* 16th September 1954 in Lauterstein ) is a German entrepreneur , journalist and since 2001 honorary professor of the University of Pforzheim , Faculty of Business and Law.

Hüttl was also active as an FDP politician and was chairman of the Göppingen FDP district association until May 6, 2011. As a co-signer of the open letter to Guido Westerwelle, he came under fire, but initially retained his office as district chairman until after the state election. For the elections on March 27, 2011 for the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , he stood as a candidate for the FDP in the constituency of Geislingen . In September 2013 he announced his departure from the party.

Training and professional positions

Hüttl did his Abitur at the Werner-Heisenberg-Gymnasium Göppingen and did a shortened military service with the Air Force in Pinneberg. Until 1980 he studied history, political science and geography at the Universities of Stuttgart and Augsburg , during which he made a one-year study visit to Asia, South and Central America and was a visiting student of communication studies at the University of Hohenheim in 1980.

Then Hüttl completed a journalistic training at the Südwest Presse Ulm and worked as an editor for the Neue Württembergische Zeitung in Göppingen. He passed the 2nd state examination in education at the Esslingen seminar near Baur and worked from 1982 to 1984 as a teacher at the Max-Rill-Schule in Reichersbeuern . In May / June 1984 Hüttl was the project manager in the Kibbutz Hagoshrim workshop with the Israeli Air Force.

In 1984 Hüttl worked as a personal advisor to Rector Huth at the Pforzheim University and was a visiting student in economics and business administration at the Pforzheim University. Since 1986 he has acted as the managing advisor of the FRK (Permanent Conference of Rectors and Presidents of the Universities of Applied Sciences in the Federal Republic of Germany). Hüttl worked as a lecturer at Pforzheim University for journalism, international public relations and export marketing. In 1999 he was a guest lecturer at the Technical University of Hanoi for the DAAD . Hüttl is Vice President for International Relations of the private Trung Vuong University of Vietnam and co-editor of the web platform www.mm-industri.com for Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei under the license of the Würzburger Vogel publishing house.

Research and publications

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science , Hüttl prepared studies on the international acceptance of German universities of applied sciences and undertook studies in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Indonesia and Japan.
