Winkl is a district of the municipality of Prittriching in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

geography

The parish village of Winkl is about four kilometers south of Prittriching. The Lost Brook flows through the town center .

history

Winkl was first mentioned in 1129 as Winchelen .

The parish formed its own Hofmark , which was initially owned by the Jesuit college in Landsberg from 1615 to 1773, then by the caste office in Landsberg until 1783 and finally by the Maltese Commende Kaltenberg until the secularization . The high jurisdiction lay with the Landsberg district court .

In the year 1752 37 properties are mentioned, 15 of the Hofmark itself, 11 of the Winkl church, four each of the municipality and the Rottenbuch monastery and one property each of the Dießen monastery and the Bernried monastery .

After the secularization, the community of Winkl was created in 1818 by the community edicts, which was incorporated into Prittriching on July 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform .

Attractions
