Germany sentsix athletes and fourteen athletes to the starting line at the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver . The standard bearer at the opening ceremony was the Nordic cross-country skier and biathlete Frank Höfle .

The most successful athletes were Verena Bentele (5 gold medals), Gerd Schönfelder (4 × gold, 1 × silver), Martin Braxenthaler (3 × gold, 1 × silver) and Wilhelm Brem (1 × gold).
