Vyacheslav Hleb ( Belarusian Вячаслаў Глеб ; also Russian Вячеслав Глеб , Vyacheslav Gleb; FIFA spelling Vyatcheslav Hleb * 12. February 1983 in Minsk , Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic , then the Soviet Union ) is a Belarusian footballer who since the summer of 2017 at Neman Grodno under contract stands.

Hleb's brother is Aljaksandr Hleb , also a professional footballer, with whom he played at VfB Stuttgart .

career

In the club

Vyachaslau Hleb, the two years younger brother of Aljaksandr Hleb , comes from the youth of the Belarusian record champions Dinamo Minsk . In 2001 he followed his brother to VfB Stuttgart , where he was part of the squad of the second team that played in the then third -rate regional football league South . In January 2004 he moved to Hamburger SV . With the North Germans he came 10 times to a Bundesliga assignment . After his engagement at HSV, he played in the second half of the 2004/05 season for the Swiss first division club Grasshoppers Zurich . From July 1, 2005, Hleb was under contract with the Belarusian first division club MTS-RIPA Minsk . In 2007 he was unable to convince during a trial training session at FBK Kaunas and returned to Minsk. In 2009 he played in China for Shanghai Shenhua and the following year for Shenzhen Ruby . In January 2011 he returned to Minsk, but terminated his contract in the summer. At the end of August 2011 he signed a one-year contract with the German second division club FSV Frankfurt . On December 22, 2011 the FSV Frankfurt announced that the contract with Hleb had been terminated by mutual agreement at the end of the year. On February 16, 2012 it was announced that Hleb had signed a contract with the Belarusian first division club FK Homel until December 2012 . On March 6, 2012 he made his debut for FK Homel in the final of the Belarusian Supercup against BATE Baryssau . He became the match winner, as he scored both goals to make it 2-0. In early September 2012, the Greek second division AEL Kalloni announced the commitment of Hleb. He signed a one-year contract until the end of June 2013. After his contract with the Greeks had expired, he returned to his home country to Torpedo Schodsina . After three years he moved on to FC Krumkachy Minsk and since summer 2017 he has been playing for Njoman Hrodna .

National team

From 2004 to 2011 he was part of the squad of the Belarusian national soccer team . In 45 missions he scored twelve goals for his home country.
