Wolfgang Hepp (born January 28, 1941 in Singen am Hohentwiel ) is a German actor . He is best known for the portrayal of Hermann Faller in the television series Die Fallers - The SWR Black Forest Series .

Life

In 1960, Hepp fled high school to work as an actor. After training at the Otto Falckenberg Drama School in Munich, his first theater engagement was at the Ulmer Theater from 1962 to 1966, followed by six years at the State Theater in Kassel. The next stations were from 1972 to 1977 the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus (inter alia in Nathan der Weise ), the Theater Basel from 1977 to 1991, then the Schauspiel Bonn until 1994. As a guest at the Basel Theater in 1996, Hepp played Kopreus in Die Herakliden . At the Schwäbisch Hall Festival in 1980 and 1981 he was seen as a friar in Nathan der Weise , at the Bad Hersfeld Festival from 1987 to 1991 as a friar and Mammon in Jedermann and as Tiger Brown in The Threepenny Opera . In addition to various television games, he also played Kriminalrat Wolf in the SWR's TATORT as head of Ulrike Folkerts as Lena Odenthal.

Wolfgang Hepp lives in Weil am Rhein .
