Wolfgang Lamché
Wolfgang Lamché (born March 28, 1947 in Hamm ) is a German sculptor and object artist .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1966, he studied business administration from 1968 to 1969 at the Westphalian Wilhelms University . From 1970 to 1972 he completed an apprenticeship as a stone sculptor. In 1974 he passed the master's examination. He has been a freelance artist since 1988. He lives and works in Ennigerloh .
Works (selection)
Lamché works primarily in bronze, stainless steel and titanium. A number of his works can be found in public spaces. The cast of the late Gothic cemetery lantern in Oelde was also made in his workshop. For the square in front of the town hall in Rüthen , Lamché created the sculpture group Rüthener Eselei , which is intended to point to the earlier importance of the donkey pack animal for the Rüthener Land.
