Wolfgang Mörike

Wolfgang Mörike (born April 25, 1965 in Lübeck ) is a German jazz musician ( double bass ).

Career

Mörike, a descendant of Eduard Mörike , worked after graduation with traveling musicians such as Benny Waters , Scott Hamilton , Billy Mitchell , Oscar Klein and Charly Antolini . He was one of the European Swing Stars around Alexander Katz and Christoph Oeser's trio and was a member of Miss Mayer's Hinterhausjazzern for many years ; he also performed with Antonio Petrocca's trio and with Johnny Varro . He can be heard on recordings with Christoph Oeser and Rainer Heute .
