District Administrator

Rzehak was nominated as a district administrator candidate by Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in November 2013. He is the successor to CSU District Administrator Jakob Kreidl , who announced in advance that he would not accept the election as a result of a plagiarism affair and in particular because of allegations of controversial payments by Sparkasse Miesbach at his birthday party and the black building of his house.

Rzehak achieved 20.88% of the votes in the first round of the district elections held in the 2014 municipal elections and was thus behind Norbert Kerkel ( FWG ), who received 37.75% of the votes. In the runoff election on March 30, 2014, he prevailed against Kerkel with 53.46%. This makes him the first green district administrator in Germany.
