Wolfram Freiherr von Gugel von Brandt and Diepoltsdorf (born August 26, 1904 in Worms , † November 2, 1970 in Penzberg ) was a German lawyer and doctor.

Life

Wolfram von Gugel attended St. Anna elementary school, the Ettal grammar school and the humanistic Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich , where he also passed his Abitur in 1925. He then studied law by taking both state exams in Munich, Paris and Berlin and then medicine with the medical state examination in Hamburg and Munich. He received his doctorate in 1934 with a legal thesis in Erlangen. He worked in the Surgical and Gynecological University Clinic in Munich and in the Harlaching Hospital, as well as as a senior medical officer in Russia during the Second World War . In 1947 he established himself as a general practitioner in Dürnhausen .

Gugel was chairman of the Bavarian state association in the Association of Doctors in Germany, the Hartmannbund , also chairman of the business association of the Hartmannbund based in Munich, deputy chairman of the Hartmannbund and member of the executive committee and honorary president of the German Medical Association . He was a member of the Bavarian Health Council , the Health Committee of the DBV and the BBV, the ZDF - Television Council , and from 1958 to 1970 he belonged to the Bavarian Senate on.
