Volodymyriwka ( Ukrainian Володимирівка ; Russian Владимировка Wladimirowka ) is a settlement in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Kharkiv with about 140 inhabitants (2001).

The settlement founded in 1810 (another source speaks of 1750) administratively belongs to the district council of Murafa ( Мурафа ) in the east of Krasnokutsk Raion .

The village is located on the right bank of the Merchyk ( Мерчик ), a 43 km long left tributary of the Merla , 5 km north of the Murafa community center, 15 km east of the Krasnokutsk district center and 83 km west of the Kharkiv oblast center .

The sugar factory owner and patron Ivan Charitonenko (1820-1891) began to build a property near the village that he named after his daughter Natalijiwka ( Наталіївка ). The establishment of the property in today's Natalijiwskyj Park ( Наталіївський парк ), a monument of landscape art of national importance, was continued by his son Pavel Kharitonenko (1853-1914). A large palace, several mansions, a riding arena, a stable, a water tower, a large gate and, according to the plans of Alexei Shtusev , the Church of the Savior Transfiguration , which was built by Alexei Ruchlyadev , were built. The sculptural interior decoration of the church was carried out by Sergei Konjonkow and Alexander Matvejew and the mosaic on the entrance wall was based on a drawing by Nicholas Roerich .
