Volodymyriwka ( Ukrainian Володимирівка ; Russian Владимировка Wladimirowka ) is a village on the Black Sea in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with about 880 inhabitants (2001).
The village was founded in the late 19th century (another source mentions the year 1902) is the administrative center of the same name, 4,099 km² District Municipality in the south of Rajon Skadovsk to which even the villages Lymanske ( Лиманське , ⊙ ) has approximately 300 residents and Novorossijske ( Новоросійське , ⊙ ) with about 700 inhabitants belong.
The village is located at an altitude of 2 m 23 km west of the district center Skadowsk near the bank of the Jarylhatsch Bay , the northern part of the Karkinitska Bay , a Ramsar area in Ukraine . The oblast capital Kherson is about 100 km north of the village.
