The Women's Regional Handball League (WRHL) is an international women's handball league with participants from the wider Adriatic. It was held for the first time in the 2008/09 season. Teams from Macedonia , Montenegro and Serbia are currently taking part.
Although the number of teams and their composition varies annually, the league has a consistently high level of play. The (partly former) participants include Hypo Niederösterreich (8 ×), Krim Mercator (2 ×), Podravka Vegeta , Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje and ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica (1 × each), several winners of the EHF Champions League . Furthermore, many of the former and current participants are multiple winners of the respective national championships.
ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica is the most successful team in the competition so far with five titles won.
