Wszechświęte (German All Saints ) is a village in the Gmina Oleśnica (Oels) in the powiat Oleśnicki (Oels district) in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. From 1975-1998 it belonged to the Wroclaw Voivodeship .

Location and area

Wszechświęte is seven kilometers from the city of Oels . It has an area of ​​398.55 hectares, with the agricultural area being 358.48 hectares. The usable area is divided into:

history

Wszechświęte Church (All Saints' Day)

"Omnium Sanctorum" was first mentioned in a document in 1317 in connection with a dispute over tithe with a Berold. After it was implemented under German law in 1376, it received city rights. In 1380 it belonged to a knight Pecko Kampusch.

The old church was rebuilt in 1705. In 1785 the village school started operations. At that time the place had 143 inhabitants, three farms, 13 coves and three cottagers . In 1845 there were 27 households with 281 people, including three Catholics and seven Jews. 30 houses and 189 inhabitants are documented for 1908.
