Xenia is an American city ( city ) and the administrative seat in Greene County , Ohio , with a good 25,000 inhabitants.
It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Area, the fourth largest metropolitan area in Ohio. On April 3, 1974, the first of a nightly series of 148 tornadoes, known as the Super Outbreak, raged here .
The place about 20 kilometers east of Dayton is home to the dragster racetrack Kil-Kare Raceway and was formerly the seat of the Hawkins Cyclecar Company .
