Yūta Konishi ( Japanese 小 西 勇 太 ; * July 31, 1990 ) is a Japanese hurdler who specializes in the 400-meter distance .
Athletic career
Yūta Konishi gained his first international experience in 2015 when he immediately won the gold medal in 49.58 s at the Asian Championships in Wuhan and thus qualified for the World Championships in Beijing , from which he was also eliminated with 49.58 s in the preliminary run . Two years later he finished eighth in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 51.72 s.
