Yeon Gi-sung ( kor. 연기 성 ; born August 1, 1989 in Suwon ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Yeon Gi-sung learned to play football in the school team at Baegam School and in the university team at Honam University . He signed his first contract with FC Seoul in 2009 . The soccer franchise from Seoul played in the first division, the K League 1 . In 2010 he moved to league rivals Gyeongnam FC in Changwon . In mid-2011 he left South Korea and went to Thailand . Here signed a contract with TTM Phichit FC . The club played in the highest Thai league, the Thai Premier League . In mid-2013 he was signed by league competitor BEC Tero Sasana FC from the capital Bangkok . After the series in 2015 he was signed by Yadanarbon FC, based in Myanmar . With the club from Mandalay , he was runner-up in the Myanmar National League in 2015 . He returned to Thailand in early 2016. Here he was signed by third division club Bangkok Christian College FC . With the Bangkok club he played in the Regional League Division 2 in the Bangkok region. In 2016 he moved to Cambodia . The first division club Phnom Penh Crown from Phnom Penh , who played in the Cambodian League , signed him for a year. After the end of his contract he moved to Malaysia . The first division club PKNP FC , today Perak FA II, also signed him for a year. For the club he played ten times in the Malaysia Super League . The 2019 season he played again in Cambodia. Here he ran for Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng . With the club from the province of Svay Rieng he was Cambodian champion. At the beginning he went back to Thailand where he was signed by the third division Chamchuri United FC from Bangkok.
