Yin Kai ( Chinese  尹 凯 , Pinyin Yǐn Kǎi ; born November 8, 1976 ) is a former Chinese ice hockey player who played, among other things, with China Dragon in the Asia League Ice Hockey .

Career

Yin Kai began his career as an ice hockey player with the regional team in Harbin, for which he competed in the Chinese ice hockey league since 1996 and was national champion there in 1999, 2002, 2003 and 2005. Since 2005 he has played with the team that was renamed Hosa Ice Hockey Team in 2006 in the Asia League Ice Hockey . When his team merged with the Beijing team Changchun Fuao , Fu also received a contract for the fusion product China Sharks in Shanghai . He also played there after the team was renamed China Dragon until he retired in 2010.

International

Yin first took part in the C-World Championships in 1997 , 1998 , 1999 and 2000 for China . After switching to the current division system, he played at the World Championships in Division I in 2001 , 2002 and 2007 and in Division II in 2004 , 2006 and 2010 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the 2006 Winter Games in Turin .

At the U20 World Cup , he was assistant coach of the Chinese team in Division II.
