Park Yun-bae (born September 23, 1979 in Gangwon-do Province ) is a South Korean biathlete .

Park Yun-bae lives in Gangwon Province. The married soldier started biathlon in 1988. He is trained by Park Nam-ho. Park made his debut in 1999 in the biathlon world cup. He contested his first race in an individual in Hochfilzen , in which he finished 100th. The first highlight was the 2001 biathlon world championships in Pokljuka . In the individual he was 84th and 86th in the sprint race. In 2003 he took part in the World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk with ranks 88 in the individual and 86 in the sprint. At the 2003 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie , 26th place in the mass start was the best result. The South Korean achieved his best result in the 2004/05 season when he was 74th in Pokljuka. The highlight of the season was again the World Championship , which took place in Hochfilzen in 2005. In the individual he was 97th, in the sprint he reached 88th place. So far, the last major event was the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin . At the competitions in Cesana San Sicario , Park achieved two of his best international results with ranks 81 in the individual and 79 in the sprint.
