The Yorkshire Post is a daily English regional newspaper from Leeds . It is published in the morning, is printed in four broadsheet issues and is available in the neighboring counties of North Yorkshire and South Yorkshire as well as in the East Riding of Yorkshire , North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire in addition to Leeds and West Yorkshire . The newspaper is considered conservative.

The newspaper was founded in 1754 as Leedes Intelligencer and appeared weekly. It has been called (The) Yorkshire Post since 1866 and is published daily. In November 1939, the Leeds Mercury, founded in 1718, went into the Yorkshire Post.

Yorkshire Post Newspapers Ltd, the Yorkshire Post's publisher, is owned by Johnston Press, one of the UK's largest newspaper publishers . The Yorkshire Evening Post is published by the same publisher .

In March 2014, the product was The after 46 years added to the title of the newspaper again.
