Yosa de Garcipollera is a Spanish town in the Pyrenees in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon . Yosa de Garcipollera belongs to the municipality of Jaca . The village in the Valle de la Garcipollera had to be abandoned in the 1960s because of the construction of the Yesa dam . The area was afforested to counteract soil erosion and thus the silting up of the dam.
