Young Money Entertainment
Young Money Entertainment was founded by rapper Lil Wayne and is a joint project between various US musicians, including Drake , Tyga , Nicki Minaj & Lil Twist . However, the label is not run by Lil Wayne, but by longtime friend Mack Maine . The label is affiliated with Cash Money , which is run by rappers Birdman and Lil Wayne.
history
In early 2009, several musicians from the Young Money Entertainment label joined forces for the first time to record a song under the name Young Money . Her single Every Girl came to number 10 on the US charts.
After the success, a complete album by the eleven label artists was tackled. The second single Bedrock was released in advance at the end of the year , in which the young money musicians were supported by the singer Lloyd . The song became a number 1 raphite and peaked at number 2 on the official charts. The album We Are Young Money was released at the beginning of 2010 and entered the album charts at number 9.
On March 11, 2014, the next album was released under the name "Young Money: Rise of an Empire".
