Yves Le Saux (born December 24, 1960 in Hennebont , France ) is Bishop of Le Mans .

Life

Yves Le Saux studied theology in Brussels from 1980 and was ordained a priest on June 22, 1986 as a member of the Emmanuel Community for the diocese of Autun . He initially worked as a chaplain in Paray-le-Monial and was assistant to the rector of the shrines there from 1994 to 1997. Later he was the episcopal delegate for family pastoral care in the diocese of Autun. Since 2002 he has been responsible for all priests and seminarians in the Emmanuel Community.

On November 21, 2008 he was welcomed by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed Bishop of Le Mans and consecrated on January 25, 2009 by Archbishop André Armand Cardinal Vingt-Trois .
