Yvette Broch (born December 23, 1990 in Monster , South Holland ) is a former Dutch handball player .
Career
Yvette Broch played for Van der Voort / Quintus in the Netherlands. After she reached the final of the talent show Holland's Next Top Model in 2008 , she quit handball in order to concentrate fully on a modeling career . From 2009 she played handball again, first with VOC Amsterdam, and from 2010 in Spain with BM Alcobendas. In 2011, the 1.84 meter tall cyclist moved to the French first division team Metz Handball , with whom she won the championship and trophy in 2013, as well as the final of the EHF Cup , where the Danish club Team Tvis Holstebro lost. A season later she won the championship again. In 2015 she won the French Cup for the second time. From the 2015/16 season she was under contract with the top Hungarian club Győri ETO KC . In 2016, 2017 and 2018 she won the Hungarian Championship with Győri ETO KC, the Hungarian Cup in 2016 and 2018 and the EHF Champions League in 2017 and 2018 . She ended her career in summer 2018.
Broch played 118 international matches for the Dutch national team , in which they scored 303 goals. She participated in the 2011 and 2013 World Championships . She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She won the silver medal at the 2016 European Championships . A year later she won the bronze medal at the World Cup in Germany . In addition, Broch was elected to the All-Star Team of the 2017 World Cup.
