Tender wishes (original title: Les Aveux les plus doux ) is a French feature film from 1971 by Édouard Molinaro with Marc Porel , Caroline Cellier , Philippe Noiret and Roger Hanin . The film had its German premiere in 1975 on GDR television .

action

The carefree young Jean and the gentle Catherine are lovers. They live the life of young bohemians in a seaside city, play on the beach and make love. They drive around in a stolen car, which they leave behind after a while. When Jean participates in a raid on a circus, his accomplice kills a circus man. Jean, who did not want that, flees. Two policemen, Muller and Borelli, are supposed to solve the murder of the circus man. They suspect Jean, but they can't prove anything. By chance the ringmaster recognizes Jean. They interfere in the love life of jeans and ensure that Jean and Catherine get married. But neither Jean nor Catherine are ready to testify. A perfidious intrigue between the two police officers begins.

After The Man in the Red Skirt, Edouard Molinaro wanted to work again with Claude Jade , who was supposed to play Marc Porel's friend Catherine here . But the actress, who had already refused nude scenes in the first joint film, refused. She is not yet ready to play nude scenes. Molinaro then gave the role to Caroline Cellier . Molinaro does in Tender wishes as play the film in France , but the police wearing Italian uniforms.
